Susan Rockefeller is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, artist and conservationist. She is the founder of Musings (musingsmag.com), a digital magazine that showcases responsible innovation and action for a better world. Muses, a branch off of Musings, is her new product line with MADE SAFE-certified, organic ingredients featuring CBD from the hemp grown on her family farm. Susan sits on the boards of Oceana, Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture, We Are Family Foundation, Asian Cultural Council, Peggy McGrath Rockefeller Foundation, David Rockefeller Fund, Land and Garden Preserve, and is a Mission Board Member of Imagine. Susan is also Principal of Louverture films and has exec- and co-produced over 20 acclaimed films including Viktor Kossakovsky’s Gunda and Aquarela; Barbara Ettinger’s A Sea Change: Imagine a World Without Fish; and her own film Mission of Mermaids: a love letter to the ocean. Susan is also a member of the Film Committee at MoMA, Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and the Council on Foreign Relations. She is an avid encaustic painter and beekeeper in the Hudson Valley in New York.
