Ben Dixon is a SYSTEMIQ Partner and leader of the firm’s Materials Platform. He works with industry, government and civil society to accelerate progress towards circular systems of industrial production and consumption that design out waste and pollution, with a particular focus on plastics. Ben was also the co-founder of Project STOP, a city partnership initiative established by SYSTEMIQ to prevent plastic pollution at the front line in Indonesia (www.stopoceanplastics.com). He joined SYSTEMIQ from industry (Royal Dutch Shell, BG Group) with deep experience of sustainability in the energy and petrochemical sectors. His academic background is in environmental science and he holds an MA in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University and an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College, London.
