Matthew Grossman is the Chief Executive Officer and Manager of ALG Investment Management, LLC, which manages the assets of ALG Fund, LLC, a family office investment fund. From January 2008 through December 2012, he was the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Plural Investments, LLC, an Equity Long/Short investment manager. From January 2005 through December 2007, Matt was the Chief Investment Officer of CR Intrinsic Investors, a division of SAC Capital Advisors, LLC. From December 2002 through December 2004, he was the Director of Research for Steven A. Cohen at SAC Capital Advisors. From February 2001 until December 2002, he was a Portfolio Manager at Sigma Capital, a division of SAC Capital Advisors. From September 1999 through February 2001, he was a Portfolio Manager and Vice President in Credit Suisse First Boston’s U.S. Equity Proprietary Trading Group. From December 1994 through September 1999, he was an Analyst (part time until May 1998) at Tiger Management. Matt graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Columbia University in 1998 with a B.A. in Economics. He is a former Trustee of Deerfield Academy and former member of the Columbia College Board of Visitors.
